We are located on a perfect setting on the bank of the Pioneer River, Via Mackay. The area boasts perfect water, well maintained grounds, good facilities and a friendly atmosphere. We are a family club and welcome all interests in the Skiing family.

Facilities
Camp grounds
Camping fees are $10 per night (powered or not). Fees are payable into the donation box located in the clubhouse.
* Camping fees can be paid via direct deposit, your transaction shows your name. Please use CAMPING as the reference.
All of your regular boat crew, including extended family and friends are to pay associate membership.
Families with children 18 + are to pay associate membership for each 18+ child.

Clubhouse toilets and showers are everyone's responsibility. Cleaning products are available in each amenities area.
​
As we all share the same house, please keep our home clean and tidy.
​
Skip bins are provided at the entry to the grounds for members to dispose of their rubbish.
NO DUMPING outside of the bin as contractor will not empty the bins. If full, please contact a committee member.

Access and Parking
NO DOGS ALLOWED
Access is only available to members and their invited guests.
Each boat membership is given a key to the main gate and boat ramp. Please lock the gates and turn off all lighting if you are the last to leave.
Associate members are only permitted on the grounds with the registered boat owner.

Boat Trailer parking is available near the clubhouse.
At busy camping times do not park boat trailers in the main camping area.

Have a question
If you have any questions about the club facilities, need to report any faults or damage or are in need of more toilet paper, please contact a committee member.

If no one speaks up, we can't ensure you have a hassle free stay!.
ALL VISITORS are to be an associate of a current financial boat member of Mackay Water Ski club.
It is encouraged that regular visitors have their own associate membership linked to a current ski club boat member. Alternatively Boat Members can pay for an Associate Family Membership to allow for 1 off visitors that come only occasionally. OR each occasional associate that visits (day trippers) are asked to place a donation for their visit in the donation box in the clubhouse near the toilets, as you will have enjoyed a great place, and costs are paid for by members to maintain such a wonderful venue.
All campers are to pay the $10 per night per camp site powered and non powered as a donation.

New Memberships
To become a boat member, you need to:

Attend 3 meetings in 12 months (full details in Bylaws)
Monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month from February to November. *No meeting are held in December and January.

Fees for New Boat Membership = $550 PLUS any applicable Associate memberships.

Fees = $300 for renewal PLUS any applicable Associate memberships. *Payment is by CASH, CHEQUE or EFTPOS.

NO DIRECT DEBITS FOR MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS as we need to site paperwork and supply a key and sticker.
Meetings
Monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7;30pm from February to November. *No meeting are held in December and January.

Location: Souths Leagues Club, Milton St.
Our Annual General Meeting is held in February after the monthly general meeting.

Important Notes:
Original documents, certified copies or an electronic copy must be sighted by a committee member. For further information please read the Familiarisation Sheet & Bylaws.
​
You must present the above at one of the membership renewal dates at the ski club grounds or monthly meetings.
​​
*Any payments after March are charged at the New membership fee: $550 without a key or $530 with a key to exchange.
If you can not attend in person, send someone on your behalf with your paperwork, key and money.
No excuses, send a friend instead.

If you are missing any of the required items above, you will need to come to the next renewal day or meeting to complete your registration.
​
The onus is on you the member, not the committee, to follow up if you forget something. We are busy people too!
​

Mackay Water Ski Club Inc. bylaws have been set in place in conjunction with the Constitution, and for the safety of members and visitors. They are to be followed to the best of your ability. Should you have any queries, please contact a Committee member. Your membership is at risk if you do not follow the Bylaws as agreed to; when signing your membership form when joining or renewing.
